Overview
Jeanne Moderno is a typeface created by Steve Morello that I chose to base this typebook on. This book showcases how this typeface can be used and the differents font it has to offer. Geometric shapes fill the pages to match with the style of Jeanne Moderno. Posters featuring quotes from famous authors were made alongside these typebooks.
Solution
Inspired by memphis style and geometric grids, I created colorful shape grids to be used across the pages. Each one is a new take on it and compliments well with the geometric characters of Jeanne Moderno. These shapes can even be found on the poster as books and ideas fly out of a vibrant colored girl’s head. Glowing lights are used to emphasize the magic that Sarah J. Maas quote envokes in her quote. Brilliant colors are used to showcase Jeanne Moderno and create a cohesive design between typebook and quote poster.
