Overview
In the 36 Days of Type I was tasked with redesigning every letter and number in the english alphabet. While I could’ve had a theme and made all the letters go together like a typeface, instead I wanted to get creative and make every new addition unique from the last. To do this I would have to not only redefine each letter in my style but also having 36 different designs distinct from each other
Solution
This project made me rethink the very structure and anatomy of letters as I made many variations sketching for the 36 days. I picked and pull them apart until I came up with a variation that I felt well represented how I saw each letter. Coming up with so many ideas and choosing the best ones to become vectors really pushed my creativity.
